Top 12 : the highlights
Top 12 Guys:
The real season got off to a great start. I can honestly say all 12 of the fellas brought their A game
to the semi finals. I am only listing the 6 guys that stood out for me this week.
Reed - a slowed down jazzy version of "Moves like Jaggar" - OUTSTANDING. I will buy that
Adam - aka White Chocolate - His version of "Respect" wasnt half bad
DeAndre - Milli Vanilli hair aside, he a great version of Reasons by Earth Wind and Fire - downloadable
Creight - the PK (preachers kid) channeled the 80's Star Search Champ Sam Harris with True Colors, well done
Phillip Phillips - Did a version of In the Air tonight that was as original as his country version of Thriller
My favorite guy was Joshua Ledet - He brought the church to American Idol = A+

Top 12 Girls
Were there 12 girls? Two words .....Jessica Sanchez. Little powerhouse channeled Jennifer Hudson
Bootayance and Etta James at one time. She IS the one to beat in 2012

My favorite has been called and the Winner of American Idol is.....Jessica Sanchez
Now if I HAVE to pick a few more favorites this week...and it is a struggle I have chosen the following under diress
Chelsea - Only because I have been brainwashed, I mean trained to like Carrie Underwood and this was a decent performance
Halle Day - The name alone says star, she's from Baltimore, MD, bleached blond hair and sang Feeling Good which made its Idol debut with Adam Lambert who blew it out ONLY to be outshown by Jennifer Hudson on her commercials. She did a great job
Brielle did a good job with dock of the bay and Hollie gave a powerhouse ending to her performance but again the week belong to Jessica Sanchez
